Kiamichi Country is everything you think “Real Country” should be!
Among many things, Kiamichi has heritage, beauty & is so very peaceful.

Pushmataha County was named after the famous Choctaw Chief that played a very
important role in Native American history.

Kiamichi is unbelievably gorgeous and still “undiscovered”.
It is nestled between the Potato Hills and the Kiamichi Mountains.
There is nearly 3000 square miles and yet…. only one traffic light!

We have LOTS of everything ---- except people!
It’s a year round "out-door kind of place" with plenty of elbow room.

Our Wild life is very abundant as well. We have Hunting--- Whitetail Deer, wild Turkey,
wild Boar, Quail & Dove. Along with lots of Bobcats, Coyotes and Bears… and an occasional
cougar sighting too!
And Fishing, of course, in our lakes & rivers is phenomenal! We have Bass, Trout, Catfish,
Saugeye and Perch to name a few!

We have hundreds of miles of trails for horses or four wheelers in managed timberlands
known as the Honobia Wildlife Management Area. We are also very close to Beavers Bend
State Park.

We have big bull pines and lots of hardwoods so the Fall Season here in Kiamichi
country rivals anything New England has to offer. We have water also: highly rated lakes
like Sardis, Clayton, Ozzie Cobb, McGee and Hugo that offer great fishing and boating
within 15 miles in ALL directions!
Many of our properties have rivers or creeks, some are lucky enough to include a breath-
taking river like the Kiamichi or Little River!

IT IS TRUE --- Kiamichi Country has it ALL ---
A great “Rural Retreat” and a fabulous “Country Way of Life” all within 3 hours from
Dallas, Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK.
